Veneers are thin, somewhat transparent caps that are permanently bonded to your teeth – typically, the front teeth. Veneers are a great alternative choice to other cosmetic dental procedures that could otherwise be more costly or painful. Veneers are typically placed over a series of two visits. Some existing tooth structure, or enamel, is removed so that the placed veneers are roughly the same size as your original teeth.
Veneers can give patients a bright, straight smile without surgical procedures or orthodontics. They are a great choice for patients who suffer from broken, chipped, stained, misshapen teeth, or who have unsightly gaps between some or all of their teeth.
