Implant restoration

Dental implants are an amazing advance in dental technology and are highly effective. They are, as their name suggests, implanted directly into your jawbone to act as a firm anchor. Once that anchor is in place, a crown must be installed on top of the implant to bring your smile and bite back to its pristine look and function. This is called an implant restoration.

These dental implant restorations cannot be placed until at least three months after your implant procedure, to ensure that your mouth’s bones and soft tissues have completely healed from the surgery. Once you are ready to have the restorations placed, our office will work closely with you to ensure that your restoration matches the look and function of your original teeth. This process generally requires a short series of visits, so that we can be sure your crown is a perfect fit for you and your needs.
